Disability Community UK DLA Survey 2012

Hi All,

Just a quick post… the new FB group I started called Disability Community UK have designed a survey, we put it together to get a better idea of what people spend their DLA on.

There seem to be little or no statistics to help us prove how vital DLA is to those that receive it, and how important a benefit it is to those who are currently fighting the system trying to get that very important award of DLA… If you have time could you please visit the link at the bottom of the page… copy and paste the survey to your email complete it and send it back to us.

What will we do with the info…

from the responses we get we will create a statistical analysis, to help us show how important it is for the Gov. to get any changes to DLA right…

All email addresses or personal information is kept strictly private and will not be shared with anyone.

The stats this survey creates will be shared freely with campaign groups that are fighting the cuts to DLA… with a projected 500,000 people set to loose their DLA  and a further 280,000 set to loose their motability cars, we need to show how vital this benefit is, not just to those unemployed disabled people but to those disabled people who work as well…

Please help our team by completing the survey and emailing it to us at the email provided… thanks from us all Dxxx

Hi Joanna, You have to copy and paste the document and email it to us. If you cant do that i could PM it to you if your on FB or i could email it to you. I wasn’t aware of restrictions on spending your DLA on care. This is coming from the cc that are trying to cap care in the community. Have you been in touch with the Worc’s campaign group? Did you check with an advocate or CAB that this was right. Take care and come back to me if you need help… Dxxx
